Create an agent-based scanning integration for GitHub

Veracode Software Composition Analysis agent-based scanning supports cloud-hosted (GitHub.com) and self-hosted (GitHub Enterprise) versions of GitHub issues.

Before you begin:

You must have the Security Lead role in the Veracode Platform.

To complete this task:

1. In the Veracode Platform, select Scans & Analysis > Software Composition Analysis.

2. Select Agent-Based Scan.

3. Select Agent-Based Scan Settings > Integrations > Actions > Create GitHub Integration.

4. Choose the workspace where you want to set up the integration.

5. Select Activate GitHub integration.
